Risk management and maintenance for Stadtwerke Solingen

Stadtwerke Solingen decided to include maintenance measures in signion's already existing project in order to be able to carry out cost and effort forecasts. Furthermore, a risk register was created and implemented together with signion. 

In order to map not only the replacement costs but also the costs incurred through maintenance, maintenance orders for the electricity stations were integrated into the existing project. Each station type receives its own maintenance objects, which differ appropriately in costs and intervals.

In addition to simple maintenance, inspections and extended inspections also come into play. Forecast calculations for electricity stations now include these additional cost factors and reflect them in the analyses. Predefined indices allow the intervals and costs of maintenance to be varied.

The recording of risks in asset management with the help of a risk catalogue and the risk register was realised together with signion. The risks are evaluated on the basis of a risk matrix and corresponding measures for risk management can be described and evaluated.
